How to add floating hotspots to my virtual tour

You are here:

Apart from 26 great looking “normal” hotspots, you can also choose one of the 3 “floating hotspots” for your tours!

This is what the floating hotspots look like:

  • Floating Hotspots like “Google” – Arrows

  • Floating Hotspots that come into view once the user moves their mouse over the image

  • Fixed circular floating hotspot

To activate the floating hotspots, build your tour as usual using the “normal” hotspots. Once finished you can activate the floating hotspot feature like so:

To change to Floating hotspots for ALL your tours using the default settings:

Go to your Default settings

MM Management > Config & Settings

Click the tab “Vt’s”

Activate “Floating Hotspots:

  1. Hide original hotspots will hide the “normal” hotspots you used to build the tour
  2. Type of floating hotspot – choose 1 or all 3

To Activate the floating hotspots for just 1 tour:

Click on the tour settings:

Choose “Settings” and activate “overwrite defaults”

Choose settings:

Activate Overwrite defaults:

Activate Floating Hotspots:

  1. Hide original hotspots will hide the “normal” hotspots you used to build the tour
  2. Type of floating hotspot – choose 1 or all 3
When using overwrite defaults in a tour, you have to set all the settings for your tour again including colours, transitions, rotations etc.
